Sustainable Art Awards 2009 - Terms and Conditions

1. The Sustainable Art Awards are open to UK resident artists who have made work within the last 24months in any medium.

2. Only one entry per artist is permitted and all entries must have paid the registration fee prior to submitting their work. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries if the registration fee has not been paid.

3. The closing time and date for registration is 12pm 20th May 2009 at 12pm. Entries to the Sustainable Art Awards will only be accepted online. However, supporting materials may be sent to BASH Studio, 65-71 Scrutton Street, London, EC2A 4PJ to arrive by Wednesday 20th May. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt. No responsibility will be taken for material lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Materials need to be collected before 12pm 1st June 2009 by the owner. Please advise Bash Creations ltd by post should you wish to arrange for collection. Thereafter all unclaimed materials will be destroyed.

4. Judges will select a national short list of 30 artists (all of whom will be notified by email). Judges will then select between 10-15 winners to receive a Sustainable Art Award and be selected as chosen exhibitors. In the event of non-availability of any of the judging panel, the remaining judges will make a decision, which will be final.

5. The winning chosen selection of the Sustainable Art Awards will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Friday 12th June.

6. Entrants consent to the disclosure of all information provided by them to any party involved in assessing their entry. The intellectual property rights (registered designs, patents, copyright etc) of all information submitted remain with the entrant. Entrants should note that certain intellectual property rights may be irrevocably lost if action to register them is not taken before any disclosure in publicity material. No responsibility whatsoever will be accepted by Bash Creations Ltd for any loss of intellectual property rights arising from entry into the Sustainable Art Awards competition and the categories offered.

7. All entrants agree to participate without payment in any publicity surrounding the Sustainable Art Awards, which may or may not be published or broadcast as a result.

8. All entries, and details contained within all entries, may be reproduced and used by Bash Creations ltd and the sponsors in any manner chosen without further consent.

9. The promoter(Bash Creations ltd) and any sponsors each reserve the right to vary, suspend or terminate the Sustainable Art Awards at any time.

10. The promotion and these Rules will be governed by English law and entrants and all other parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
